[VIDEO] My Sunday Inspiration After Tragedy
So I woke up this morning and the first thing I saw was my best friend’s Facebook status, “Not the way I’ve imagined starting my day… R.I.P. Jordin.” I’ve said to myself over and over again that I’m sick of things like this happening so close to home. Fatal shootings, murders, deaths, etc. It’s creating a big blur of emotion in my life and the lives of others. Before I continue, I’d like to take a moment to send my prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Jordin Crawley. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain that everyone is going through and unfortunately all we can do is leave this in God’s hands.
As I used today to try to find different things to take my mind off of the tragedy, I started searching for inspirational videos, quotes, etc on the web. It’s really hard to pick yourself up when everyone around you seems to be suffering, but in the end we all have to find a way. I came across a post on Facebook that really was and still is, an amazing story. Words can’t describe the feeling I got while watching this video, but I will say that it brought me to tears. This video is an eye-opener to many of us who don’t seem to appreciate the real value of life and love. As powerful as it is, this story may not even capture some people’s attention, but for everyone else, there’s no way you shouldn’t be touched by this. Take a closer look into the lives of Conner and Cayden Long, two brothers who are just trying to get by in life.
